The wonder of Christmas includes peace because not only was our Savior born, but that also meant our Good Shepherd finally had arrived.
A shepherd in biblical days lived with his sheep. That means a shepherd knew everything about them; he nurtured, guided, and always had his eye on his sheep.

Hope has often been defined as having a positive expectation of your future. Part of the wonder of Christmas Is how God chose to give needed hope to his people

Jesus came to get messy. And the birth that took place in that messy barn on the outskirts of Bethlehem was anything but a clean and sanitary night
If we choose to put our messy lives into his hands, we can have confidence that he knows how to make something new beautiful, and clean

In the Beatitudes, we see Christ's emphasis on our attitude and who we are versus what we do.
Being merciful allows us to see people not as enemies to be fought against but as people to have pity upon and realize that they are captive to sin and the ways of the world. This is what Jesus did for you and me.
This is what Jesus did when he said: "Father, forgive them for they know not what  they do"

We live In a world where happiness Is the central goal of life. We make all kinds of decisions In our lives based on whether or not those decisions will make us happy.
Jesus said Happy are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness. It’s an attitude and desire to be free from sin and all its forms and manifestations because sin separates us from God
