The wonder of Christmas includes peace because not only was our Savior born, but that also meant our Good Shepherd finally had arrived.
A shepherd in biblical days lived with his sheep. That means a shepherd knew everything about them; he nurtured, guided, and always had his eye on his sheep.

The Wonder Of Christmas

Monday Dec 02, 2024

Monday Dec 02, 2024

Join us this morning as Pastor Paul dives into: The Wonder Of Christmas.
Let us remember what took place on the first Christmas when Jesus was born looks a lot more like that messy barn than the clean little manger in our nativity scenes
Jesus came to get messy. And the birth that took place in that messy barn on the outskirts of Bethlehem was anything but a clean and sanitary night
If we choose to put our messy lives into his hands, we can have confidence that he knows how to make something new beautiful, and clean

Come join us this morning as Pastor Paul wraps up his sermon series (Sermon On The Mount)
Today, we are looking at the 8th beatitude: Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness
The world will persecute you because your Christlikeness reminds them of their emptiness and depravity and our first response shouldn’t be to fight back but rather to rejoice and be glad

Monday Nov 18, 2024

Join us this morning as we look at Beatitudes 6 and 7 (Pure in Heart & Peacemakers)
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. God is the God of peace. He is the prince of peace, and we are his children and ambassadors of his reputation
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. As Christians, we understand that there are two sides inside of him. The old man and the new man.
Which one will have the loudest voice?

Merciful (Sermon On The Mount)

Tuesday Nov 05, 2024

Tuesday Nov 05, 2024

Join us this morning as we look at the fifth beatitude. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
In the Beatitudes, we see Christ's emphasis on our attitude and who we are versus what we do.
Being merciful allows us to see people not as enemies to be fought against but as people to have pity upon and realize that they are captive to sin and the ways of the world. This is what Jesus did for you and me.
This is what Jesus did when he said: "Father, forgive them for they know not what  they do"
