Pentecost Sunday

Pentecost was a feast on which the Jews celebrated and gave thanks to God for giving the law to Moses on Mt. Sinai.

The Feast of Pentecost was prophetic or a shadow of what would come.

*Moses was up on the mountain / Disciples were in the upper room

*God descended on the mountain with fire / Tongues of fire were poured out

*God wrote his law upon tablets / God wrote his law upon our hearts

*3000 men died because of sin / 3000 men died to their flesh and were born again
